EXPLANATION.
One of Zita’s inherent abilities is the fact she can sense fellow supernatural beings and items of magical origins. For now, her powers have been tampered down so that she can only faintly detect magic in others and they can do so in return.
She won’t be able to identify what it is in detail — like the type of species the being is or what item does specifically — but she can detect it and its general direction.
